21 Signs You're a 21st Century Teacher
Simple K-12 offered a webinar that listed 21 items that would help a teacher become a 21st Century Teacher
1. Utililze a website called http://bibme.org to utilize an online bibliography.
2. Skype is a wonderful way to communicate! Go to http://www.skype.com and a newer version for education - http://education.skype.com
3. Create a blog using www.blogger.com or www.wordpress.org to help students communicate.
4. Have you ever tried Twitter? Many students tweet and you need to try it!
5. Try Google Hangouts for screensharing. Create an Avatar using Voki. Screencastomatic/ fotobabble
6. Create a Podcast using www.vocaroo.com
7. Like Facebook? Try Fakebook! www.classtools.net/fb/home/page
8. Ever tried to create a wiki? Very simple!! Go to wikispaces.com and get started.
9/10. Share info around the globe? Money tight? Utilize Teacher Learning Community - shared resources.
